Listerine Vinegar Foot Soak For Soft, Smooth Feet?

WHAT IS THE OFFICIAL “RECIPE” FOR LISTERINE VINEGAR FOOT SOAK?
The original recipe calls for 1/2 cup each of vinegar and Listerine with 1 cup of water. My proportions are as follows.

Recipe for Listerine Vinegar Foot Soak

  • 1 cup of listerine
  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • warm water to cover top of feet

HOW LONG DO YOU SOAK YOUR FEET IN LISTERINE AND VINEGAR?
The answer is at least 10 minutes but ideally 20 minutes. The former is the minimum time needed to soften feet and prepare them for a good exfoliation. The latter is ideal for perfectly soft, supple, exfoliation ready feet. This is also a good time to rest and relax:-)

WHAT PAN DO YOU USE FOR A FOOT SOAK?
I used to soak my feet in disposable aluminum pans; however, I now use a colorful plastic one that has a handle for easy lifting. I spray it with lysol after each use and wash/rinse it before storing. The one I have is in the link below.

WILL LISTERINE COLOR MY FEET OR TOES BLUE/GREEN?
Some have encountered the problem of having their feet and/or toes turn blue or green when soaking in the Listerine vinegar solution. If this happens, Dr. Jo reports that it will go away (typically within a day or two). To avoid this entirely, you can use the clear Listerine. I link to one below.

Note: If using the Listerine Vinegar solution in the foot spa, I use the heat function and soak for 20 minutes or so. I do NOT use the aqua jets, as it foams and bubbles. I only use aqua jets with plain water and bath salts. I LOVE these bath salts with eucalyptus and peppermint. A short soak in this (and water) makes feet feel fresh and tingly and cool.
